I met Bettie and Dick while Bettie was in the rehab unit at the same time I was. I began reading the story about Bettie while I was still in the hospital and followed it after I was released and got so much information as well as inspiration from reading it. I would recommend it to anyone who has a loved one who has suffered a stroke. It is a tribute to Bettie and an example of how to cope with the frustrations and victories you may encounter along your journey.
