Greetings,
Happy Holidays to everyone. This month we include
two articles which address the holiday
season.
In Fuel for the Journey, Lin Mouat lists
suggestions to help survive and thrive during the
holidays. A few simple alterations will make the season
more enjoyable for everyone. Marty Arlen provides the
humor for the month in Ask 007. He makes a tongue in
check suggestion for playing Santa
Claus. Be sure to read the Newsfeed Review
by Jean Guggenheimer. Of particular note is that a film
based on "The Diving Bird and The Butterfly," a book by
a stroke survivor, won an award.
Nancy Fiduk now manages Stroke Anniversaries. Be
sure to send your anniversary date to her. See the note
under the Celebrations Article for details.
February 2008 is StrokeNet's Annual Creative
Writing Issue. All readers are invited to submit
writings. Both poetry and prose are accepted. Deadline
for submissions is December 31. Send to the Editor, lwisman@strokenet.biz. Included in
this issue is a link to the Guidelines.
Enjoy the December newsletter!
