 June 2008

Here's hoping that everyone is having a good start to summer. I am happy to report that our new raised flower bed now contains herbs as well as spinach and lettuce. It is great to be able to step out the back door and pick a salad for lunch. I am looking forward to the tomato plant producing!

This month we continue a series of articles about alternative medicine. Chris DeWald reports on Tai Chi and QiGong both forms of Chinese exercise.

Two readers, who do not regularly write for this newsletter, share articles. Maria Erichsen reflects on accepting stroke. Ken Mason shares a speech he gave as speech therapy.

Steve Mallory updates Stroke Network news. Jennifer Mason's story is featured. Last, but by no means least, Nancy Fiduk provides a listing of this months birthdays and stroke anniversaries.

Enjoy the June newsletter.
