 October 2008
Greetings,

Happy October everyone! As I sit here writing this it is raining and gray. But, the cat is on my lap and I can hear music in the background. On the lighter side I am really glad I do not live in the time of caves. An advantage to the 21st century is keeping dry!

In this issue
, Steve Mallory updates organization news. Kathy Saul introduces Art Therapy. Chris DeWald provides an article on Mental Attitude and Mood Swings. Lin Wisman reviews the book, "Technology for Communication and Cognitive Treatment: The Clinician's Guide" by Joan Green.

Lin Mouat shares the second of her two part series on Traveling After Stroke. Deb Theriault introduces us to member Codi Braun. Nancy Fiduk compiles Member's Birthdays and Stroke Anniversaries.

Jean Guggenheimer is caring for her ill sister and unable to write. Best wishes are sent in their direction.

Enjoy the October newsletter.
