Vol 11, No 7

July 2011

Greetings,

Stroke Recovery is an overwhelming task. In this newsletter we bring you information from the survivor and/or caregiver perspective.

Two of our writers, Erin and J.J. Robertson, were selected in June to participate in a National Stroke Association event to lobby congress in Washington DC. Be sure to read Erin's account in Speak No Evil.

Lobbying sound like too much in your situation? There are also articles on Alexia, Learning to say Yes to Stroke, Growing New Brain Neurons, and Vacations.

The Member Story, Phil Anderson, focuses on running. The newsletter begins and ends with monthly regulars: Organization Highlights and Member Celebrations.

Enjoy the July newsletter!
