Greetings,

June is here. Now is the Time to increase outdoor activities. Included in this newsletter are two articles which may help.  Deb writes the second installment covering gardening for Stroke Survivors. Her research has discovered a lot of good ideas.

 

In The Juggling Caregiver Claudia shares ideas on adding to festival enjoyment. They have discovered several things which help.

 

StrokeNet welcomes Dean Reinke as our new Newsfeed Administrator. Dean's duties include writing about Stroke News each month. Be sure to check out his first article in this issue.

 

Another article I would like to bring to your attention is Speak No Evil. J.J. and Erin report on a Stroke Club meeting and emphasis the importance of understanding your stroke.

There is no Member Story this month.


 

Member Stories is an regular feature in this newsletter. They are a way for Members to share their accomplishments post stroke. Would you like to have your story featured?  Member Stories are written with the help of our Member Stories Coordinator, Deb Theriault.

 

Steps:

 

1.Read the Member Stories Guidelines for more info on the program.

 

2. Click Member Stories Permanent Collection to see the stories, which have been published

 

3. If you are still interested e-mail Deb at dtheriault@strokenetwork.org.  

 

 

In lieu of a Member Story, members can add their own stroke experiences to the Bios section of The Gallery or start a new Blog on the Stroke Network.  These are unedited and are not featured in the newsletter.
