May is US Stroke Awareness Month. It is easy when you are dealing with stroke on a daily basis to forget the statistics and the data to help prevent a new stroke. The National Stroke Association posted the document linked below that serves as a refresher for those of us with lots of first hand experience.

After a wet and cold April I'm looking forward to May flowers. We have been lucky to have some April flowers - always a good sign. Cleo, the cat, has decided that her window perch, which is cold in the winter, is back in season. She is enjoying the birds.

Enjoy the May newsletter!
