Greetings,

As most survivors, caregivers, families, health professionals, and anyone else who has ever dealt with stroke knows, attitude is key to recovery.  

 

Everyone goes through stages of grief that hopefully lead to acceptance of the stroke and any residuals. David shares his experience (A Positive Perspective) and how he has built a new life and made new friends.

 

Be sure to check out the Robertson column (Speak No Evil) and Claudia's column (The Juggling Caregiver). Erin and J.JJ give advice on "Insuring Your Financial Future."

One of the problems he has encountered, which is familiar to many stroke families, is financial. The struggle is between spending time with the stroker and maintaining income levels.
