Vol 12, No 12

December 2012

Greetings,

Welcome to the December issue of StrokeNet.

The holidays have begun. It can be a mad rush. The chaos can drive both survivors and caregivers crazy. But, many of our readers have learned, over the years, how to successfully organize and enjoy the holiday.

In The Juggling Caregiver, Claudia shares how to be a carefree caregiver during the holidays. Next, Deb shares her five best tips for remaining sane as a survivor.

There are a lot of people out there promoting various remedies to stroke. In "Developing a Skeptical Mindset" David shares how to evaluate the claims.

If you are thinking about returning to driving post stroke be sure to read Speak No Evil. J.J. explains the steps he went through. Jim introduces the term Care Partner in Dancing with Stroke. Dr David Brenner is featured in Staff Spotlight.

Be sure to check out organization news in Organization Highlights and Member Celebrations to see who has registered their birthday or stroke anniversary.

Enjoy the December newsletter!
