June 2012

Greetings,

Summer is finally here! We have our garden completely planted. We have been enjoying the perennial herbs for some time. Can't wait for the veggies. There is nothing like a tomato direct from the garden!

Meet Jim Sinclair. This month Jim begins a new column "Dancing with Stroke." Jim stroked in December 2003. He will share what he learned about stroke recovery.

Claudia shares what she has learned that makes attending summer events and festivals enjoyable with a stroke survivor.

Lin reviews the book "Beating Stroke - A Game Plan for Success" by Greg Schofield a member of The Stroke Network.

David reviews the book "Different Strokes: An Intimate Memoir for Stroke Survivors Families and Caregivers.by Steven Boorstein

Deb explores Ten Reasons to Garden.

Be sure to check out organization news in Organization Highlights and the celebration list to see who has registered their birthday or stroke anniversary.
