Dear Steve,
Welcome to the February issue of StrokeNet, the newsletter of The Stroke Network.
We have been having really weird weather. During January the wind chill dropped to 20 below zero one day. On another the temp was 63. Last week we broke a record -- 335 days with less than an inch of snow on the ground. I have discovered I actually miss snow!
Speaking of weather, Claudia (The Juggling Caregiver) is thinking of spring and working on spiffing up. David researched Apps for Aphasia. This is a great way to use new technology to improve speech.
Erin and J.J. (Speak No Evil) share how their hobbies have changed and how hobbies can be helpful. Jim (Dancing with Stroke) explains the stroke recovery process. Dennis Jeffries is in the staff spotlight.
Be sure to check out organization news in Organization Highlights and Member Celebrations to see who has registered their birthday or stroke anniversary.
Enjoy the February newsletter!
