Welcome to the September issue of StrokeNet, the newsletter of The Stroke Network.

 

StrokeNet introduces our newest contributor Julia Williams. Julia is the new News Administrator for The Stroke Network. Her job is to sift through news about stroke. She posts summaries on the Message Board. 

 

In addition each month Julia provides readers of this newsletter links to articles. Be sure to check out her article entitled Stroke News.

 

Support for Stroke Survivors is definitely needed. Where do you find support? How do you help others? Walt writes about The Value of Mentoring. In Dances with Stroke Jim writes about Peer Support. 

 

Several articles address possitivity. David writes about the benefits of a positive attitude. In Keeping Up the Fight, Angela discusses the health benefits of sunshine. Claudia, in The Juggling Caregiver, shares the ten reasons to celebrate stroke.
