Vol 14, No 6

June 2014
Greetings,

Welcome to the June issue of StrokeNet, the newsletter of The Stroke Network.

Are you enjoying summer yet? We are at my house.

Erin and J.J. Robertson are a husband and wife team who, for the last 4 ˝ years, have written a joint column called "Speak No Evil." They have shared their journey and helped many in the stroke family. Unfortunately they will no longer be able to write the column. We appreciate all their hard work.

If you are interested in writing for the newsletter please drop me a line. It is a great way to help others in the stroke family and to help yourself by sharing.

Often stroke survivors discover they must reinvent themselves. In "Finding a New Place To Be" David explores this issue. In The Juggling Caregiver, Claudia shares her experiences of moving into summer.

Jim, in Dancing with Stroke, explains how Aquatherapy became Visualization Therapy. Walt's article on Yoga for Stroke Survivors is reprinted. Adrienne reports on three news articles of interest to the stroke family.

Bookends to this newsletter are Organization News and Member Celebrations. Be sure to read both!

Enjoy the June newsletter!
