September 2014
Greetings,

Welcome to the September issue of StrokeNet, the newsletter of The Stroke Network.

As I send this newsletter into cyberspace we are celebrating Labor Day in the US. Labor Day is the first Monday in September and signals the end of summer. It is time to begin thinking about the winding down of 2014. It is going very quickly.

In this issue...

Walt's second article on "Dealing with the Five Disabilities Resulting from Stroke" appears. David reflects on "Peer Counseling" specifically how much stroke survivors should share with new survivors.

In "Dancing with Stroke" Jim reflects on the many things stroke survivors must relearn. Jeanette in "
Growing with Acceptance" discusses Turning Losses into Gains. In "Born Again" Moses discusses Knowing Yourself

Bookends to this newsletter are Organization News and Member Celebrations. Be sure to read both!

Enjoy the September newsletter!
