Stroke and Young Children

A Resource Guide

Many young children find themselves dealing with stroke. For many it is a grandparent. For others it is a parent, aunt or uncle, or just a friend. David has collected a list of resources for those who have young children in their family and are dealing with stroke.

 

Resources include websites, books available free of charge online and books which can be purchased. Whether or not you have young children in your family you may find this info helpful.

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Ongoing Research for Stroke

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive procedure using electromagnetic induction to stimulate specific areas of the brain. Research is ongoing using TMS to improve or reverse the effects of a stroke on motor function.
