Welcome to the June 2016 issue of StrokeNet.

Summer is finally here. I am enjoying the 80 degree weather! But, the bugs are not welcome. Bug spray is essential! Be sure to get outside and soak up some sun.
 
Jay Allen, who has published several poems in this newsletter, has agreed to provide a monthly poem. Thanks Jay!

Stroke of Luck
Post Stroke Scare

Who amongst us does not worry about another stroke? Most do, and overtime most become less fearful as another stroke does not occur.

Rachel had a scare last month when she had some very upsetting symptoms. She went to her doctor right away. Fortunately the symptoms went away. Be sure to contact your doctor if you have any unusual symptoms!
