May is National Stroke Awareness Month in the US. It began in May 1989 by proclamation by President George H. W. Bush.
 
Healthline Media has a very interesting web page which explains the history of Stroke treatment, the basics of Stroke Prevention and Current Treatments. Refresh your memory and share with your friends and family. Stroke History Webpage.

This issue includes the last installment of the popular column "Dancing with Stroke" by Jim Sinclair. Jim has been writing for our newsletter for four years and is now moving on to other ventures. We thank him for his work and wish him the best of luck with future endeavors.
